Important Information for the day of the Festival
Any Lincoln County business is eligible to set up a booth. These exhibits are for educational or entertainment purposes for children under the age of 13. No over the counter sales are permitted. Kids Apple Orchard booth spaces are located on South Government Street between West Main Street and Water Street and in the county parking lot on South Government Street. There will be a special activity area located in the grassy area off the parking lot. Booth size on South Government Street is approximately 20ft x 10ft. The booth size in the parking lot is approximately 15ft x 10ft. Kiddie rides are located in the East parking lot of the Citizens Center.
There will be a limit of three booths available to sell refreshments. These booths will be filled on a first come first serve basis. You may only offer the refreshments listed on your application. Every effort will be made not to duplicate games and activities in the area.
Exhibitors will provide their own tables, chairs, display equipment, set up, clean up, and man their space. The Apple Festival Board wishes to set a good example for our young visitors therefore; NO SMOKING IS PERMITTED IN THE KIDS ORCHARD.
Vendors may enter festival grounds at 4:30 a.m. to begin setting up booths. Please pull in, drop off your booth items and leave the area immediately. All vehicles must be off festival grounds by 7:30 a.m. If you sell out, you may break down your booth but will not be able to leave until 4:30 p.m. Booth areas must be cleaned up and all materials removed by 6:00 p.m. No vehicles are allowed on the lawn. All booths should provide their own trash receptacle with plastic bags for their own use. If your organization has a food booth, you may give out information about your organization from that booth.
Festival Vehicle Passes: Two vehicle passes will be mailed to the contact person listed on the application the week before the Apple Festival. After barricades are in place, a vehicle pass will be necessary to enter the festival area. Police officers (and or attendants) at the barricades will expect to see a pass.
An Emergency/First Aid Station will be located on the west side of the courthouse. A traffic lane must be kept open for the fire department at all times. Entrances to the Kids Apple Orchard will be: West Main and Grove Street and Water and South Government Street.
