Greetings from the Lincoln County
The Lincoln County Apple Festival is held annually in downtown Lincolnton the third Saturday in September. The hours are from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. This year’s celebration will be held on September 15. The festival provides the community with a family friendly event that serves as an annual reunion for many folks. It is also a significant fund-raising opportunity for a number of local non-profit groups. The festival offers a wide variety of entertainment, food, crafts, and much more.
The Lincoln County Apple Festival, Inc. is a non-profit organization which is governed by a board of directors. The festival is put on by numerous volunteers, with tremendous support provided by key county and city agencies. The Lincoln County Cooperative Extension Service (link) serves as the coordinating agency for the event. Primary partner agencies are Lincolnton Public Works, Lincolnton Police, Lincoln County Sheriff, Lincoln County Emergency Management, Lincoln County Emergency Services, Lincoln County Maintenance, and Lincoln County Grounds.

BOOTHS–AT A GLANCE
If you are interested in the possibility of a booth in 2012, please note the following guidelines:
FOOD VENDORS MUST BE LOCATED IN LINCOLN COUNTY AND BE A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION LOCATED IN LINCOLN COUNTY.
CRAFT VENDORS MUST BE LOCATED IN LINCOLN COUNTY OR A COUNTY THAT TOUCHES LINCOLN COUNTY. ALL CRAFTS MUST BE HANDMADE. ONLY ONE CRAFT PER BOOTH UNLESS THERE IS A PARTNER, THEN TWO CRAFTS ARE ALLOWED.
STREET BOOTHS MAY BE HELD BY NON PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT SELL; NON PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT DO NOT SELL (CHARGED A LESSER FEE); BUSINESSES LOCATED WITHIN LINCOLN COUNTY(MAY NOT SELL BUT MAY TAKE ORDERS AND DISTRIBUTE INFORMATION).
